The Firm’s capital markets practice provides legal advice in relation to large and complex equity and debt transactions in the domestic and international markets.
The Firm has been involved in advising first of a kind, frontier market and other innovative transactions. Our clients include leading investment banks and industrial houses both in India and overseas.
In the equity markets space, the Firm has been advising on initial public offering, qualified institutional placements and rights offerings of Rupee denominated securities both in, domestic and international markets. The Firm is also active in the international market in relation to issuance of American Depository Receipts, Global Depository Receipts and Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds.
In the debt markets space, the Firm has advised on the first public issuance of Rupee denominated debt securities under the guidelines specified by SEBI. The Firm also regularly provides advice on private placement of debt securities and issuance of Rupee denominated convertible instruments. In the international market, the Firm has been providing advice on issuance of convertible and non convertible debt securities which are not Rupee denominated.
